At Epworth Villa, we offer a competitive starting salary ranging from $30.00 to $35.00+ per hour, depending on experience.

Additionally, we provide a $1,500 sign-on bonus for all full-time LPN new hires.

The LPN is accountable for delivering direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include adhering to the care plan, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care as outlined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
  • Execute the care plan developed by the registered nurse.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with the care plan.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers on self-care techniques and relevant information related to their diagnosis and care plan.
  • Coordinate home health or hospice services, reporting identified needs for additional disciplines (HHA, OT, PT, MSW, ST) to the registered nurse or Clinical Supervisor.
  • Effectively utilize and prepare equipment and supplies while adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Engage in personal and professional development activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the registered nurse.

Job Purpose: To provide compassionate daily living assistance that improves the lives of our Home Health and/or Hospice patients.

The responsibilities listed above are essential, but not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or vocational nursing program.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience is preferred, particularly in community/home health or medical/surgical settings.
  • Adhere to accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain an automobile that is in good working order and insured according to organizational requirements.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state.
  • Maintain valid CPR certification.
