Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent who is passionate about hospitality and excels in creating memorable customer experiences. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless departure experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute daily reports as instructed.
- Accurately manage VIP, complimentary, house use rooms, and out of order lists.
- Conduct nightly backup procedures for systems and documentation.
- Facilitate express checkouts, ensuring their completion.
- Complete the Night Audit checklist for the third shift.
- Balance daily postings and revenue accurately.
- Communicate effectively with all necessary departments through Wrap-Up emails.
- Assist in maintaining front office standards and resolving any deficiencies.
- Prepare daily allowance and adjustment spreadsheets.
- Safeguard confidential guest information and access to guest rooms.
- Be knowledgeable about PBX Operator duties and emergency procedures.
- Address guest requests and concerns, adhering to service recovery protocols.
- Familiarize yourself with hotel amenities, facilities, and local attractions.
- Guide guests to various areas of the hotel as needed.
- Utilize office equipment effectively, including computers and telecommunication devices.
- Engage actively with guests to identify and meet their needs, striving to exceed expectations.
- Deliver personalized guest experiences through exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous guest service experience is essential.
- Experience with PMS Cashiering is required.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests and colleagues.
- Proficient in communication, computer, and organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Repetitive motion required for computer and telephone use.
Compensation: Pay starts at $24.45/hour, with actual compensation based on qualifications and experience.
