About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Miller's Ale House. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledge all guests within five feet, and provide highest level of service by adhering to all Miller's Ale House service standards.
- Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards and state service requirements, ensure menu knowledge to address guest questions, and handle food allergy issues.
- Teamwork: Work directly with other team members to ensure all guest needs are fulfilled in a timely manner, maintain neat and organized server stations and FOH work areas, and ensure work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled server.
- Safety and Sanitation: Wash hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift, serve all food and alcohol within accordance of company standards and state service requirements, and maintain clean and sanitized work areas.
- Communication: Positively communicate with other team members and management to keep one another informed, provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift, and possess strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law.
- Ability to work with numbers and handle cash.
- Basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant point-of-sale software.
Physical Demands:
The Server is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include: remaining standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, and lifting, up to 20 lbs., for short distances, ability to work with varying noise levels, and frequent communication with managers, team members, and guests.
