The Food Runner is responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for members and guests by anticipating their needs and providing prompt, friendly, and professional service. This role involves serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist servers with menu presentation, answering questions, and making recommendations regarding food and beverage service.
  • Prepare baskets with required condiments and sides prior to serving.
  • Confirm that all orders from the kitchen are accurate, complete, and presentable, then serve to the member/guest.
  • Address members/guests by name and anticipate their needs.
  • Observe members/guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when service has been completed.
  • Monitor supplies, maintain stock, and keep the kitchen/caf areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Assist servers in keeping sections and service areas clean and organized.
  • Collect and maintain baskets throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a full hands-out, full hands-in perspective.
  • Monitor kitchen times and relay times to servers/management.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of menu, alcoholic beverages, specials, and 86d items.
  • Complete daily/weekly checklists of duties and monitor supplies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by manager.
