Job Title: Surgery Referral Coordinator

At Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgery Referral Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our client service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless communication between clients and our medical team, and facilitating a smooth appointment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding client service, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information, and communicating effectively with clients regarding their pets' medical status.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with marketing and client education efforts, promoting our hospital's services and products to clients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, medical staff, and other team members.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures preferred.
