The PPD FSP Solution:

PPD's Functional Service Provider division collaborates with and acts as an extension of our PPD team, addressing key functions for our clients. We fulfill customer requirements at every level, enabling them to achieve more with fewer resources, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality. Summarized Purpose:
Oversees the complete supply chain for highly complex global clinical trials. Ensures that project and study activities adhere to both company and client standards. Provides mentorship, training, and ongoing support to junior team members. May serve as the primary contact and escalation point for designated clients. Offers consultation services to clients and may create and update client-specific manuals. Cultivates and maintains strong client relationships.

A Day in the Life:

Develops project-specific plans for each assigned study. Collaborates with internal teams to synchronize efforts, provide insights on risks, and update project documentation. Integrates all clinical supply activities into the supply chain to support project logistics and ensure compliance with GxP standards. Engages in ongoing training regarding new regulations. Participates in various aspects of the bidding process. Represents the department in internal and external meetings, strategic projects, and bid defense initiatives as required by business needs. Contributes to or leads process improvement initiatives and actively supports the implementation of new processes within the department. Utilizes existing tools while continuously seeking opportunities for enhancement. Advises clients on optimal strategies for managing clinical trials. Establishes a robust internal and external network. May serve as a backup for the functional manager.

Key to Success:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic/vocational qualification, along with prior experience that equips you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (approximately 8+ years).

Skills & Experience:

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional interpersonal, planning, organizational, problem-solving, urgency, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Sharp focus on customer needs and meticulous attention to detail. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. Comprehensive understanding of clinical supply operations. Exceptional client relationship management and third-party relationship skills. Outstanding ability to deliver customer service with the highest standards of quality and excellence. Strong skills in bid preparation and defense. Proven presentation skills and ability to effectively represent the department.
