Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hospital departments, excluding nursing, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and administer hospital policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Represent the hospital at professional, civic, and governmental organizations, fostering strong relationships and promoting our services.
  • Collaborate with physicians to drive recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring a high-quality medical staff.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and recruitment, creating a positive work environment.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement, driving organization-wide performance enhancement activities.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and revenue streams, expanding our hospital's offerings and market presence.
  • Work closely with financial and nursing officers to optimize cost management, eliminating non-value costs and improving operational efficiency.
  • Participate in monthly operation reviews and corporate office meetings, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Master of Healthcare Administration or MBA with a healthcare emphasis required.
  • Minimum 4 years of recent hospital experience managing multiple departments in an acute care facility.
  • Experience in physician relations or recruitment is essential.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information concerning personal, financial, or medical matters.
  • Strong knowledge of technical and professional skills management, general principles of human resource management, labor relations, and hospital economics.
