Role Summary

The Industrial Automation Controls Specialist plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and upkeep of control systems utilized in various industrial operations and machinery, particularly in fuels processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain advanced control systems for industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on diverse products and processes tailored for both commercial and governmental clients.
  • Provide expertise in controls engineering while supporting additional engineering and project tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in control theory, process control, and automation systems.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PID control, feedback systems, and programming PLCs and DCS.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly employed in industrial control systems, including ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
  • Experience with programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs from leading manufacturers such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a focus on resolving complex technical issues related to fuel processing controls.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
