Overview:
MLee Healthcare is collaborating with a reputable healthcare provider to identify a talented Clinical Laboratory Specialist or Clinical Laboratory Technician for their hospital laboratory.
Shift Availability:
Evening and night shifts are open, with a $5 night shift differential offered.
Job Summary:
A Clinical Laboratory Specialist performs essential laboratory analyses to support the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role involves assisting in the collection, processing, and evaluation of tests ordered by physicians. Responsibilities include quality control, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Clinical Laboratory Specialists possess the ability to understand the interrelationships of various tests and are knowledgeable about physiological factors that may influence test outcomes, providing critical information for physicians in diagnosing diseases.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science with Board Certification or eligibility for certification within six months of employment.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
- ASCP or AMT Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist or Technician.
