Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager (Account Manager) to oversee operations and maintenance functions. This role is pivotal in coordinating and managing all contractual responsibilities between our organization and the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the successful execution of all contract-related tasks.
- Prepare and present quarterly financial forecasts and monthly updates, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and financial targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical personnel, fostering a well-trained and disciplined workforce.
- Oversee daily operations, scheduled maintenance, and construction projects, including the management of subcontractors.
- Assess project efficiency and control operational costs while maintaining high standards of service.
- Provide both administrative and technical guidance to staff in fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Manage negotiations and bids for construction contracts, ensuring compliance and effective administration.
- Collaborate with staff to plan and delegate project tasks, prioritizing maintenance and operational needs.
- Work closely with management to make informed recommendations regarding staffing decisions.
- Advise client facilities personnel on maintenance issues and physical plant concerns.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of facilities, including HVAC systems, sanitation, and overall appearance.
- Coordinate the procurement of necessary supplies and maintain inventory control.
- Maintain effective communication with architects, engineers, and contractors involved in significant projects.
- Establish and maintain records and procedures to ensure efficient management and productivity.
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff development.
- Implement and uphold a robust safety program.
- Ensure compliance with the organizational business system among administrative staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of facility operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with clients to find effective solutions.
- Experience in office administration, facility management, budgeting, and operational control.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in Windows and MS Office.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead teams effectively and work independently when required.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- A minimum of seven years of experience in maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial facilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
