Position Title: Facilities and Culinary Operations Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time (30+ hours per week, Non-exempt)

This role involves a variety of responsibilities including overseeing the maintenance and operational aspects of our facilities and kitchen. The successful candidate will engage daily with staff, volunteers, and clients, and may be required to work on weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of facility maintenance and kitchen management.
  • Interact with vendors and manage maintenance schedules effectively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Respond to emergencies and make quick decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
