Role Significance

As a Vice President of Treasury Operations at State Street Corporation, you will be pivotal in overseeing our treasury functions with an emphasis on optimizing the Gtreasury platform for testing, deployment, and enhancement. Your role will encompass Gtreasury cloud assessments, account management, and ensuring compliance with Fedwire protocols. By applying your knowledge in treasury management and Gtreasury capabilities, you will aid in refining our treasury processes and advancing our financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Gtreasury Cloud Assessments: Spearhead testing initiatives for Gtreasury cloud upgrades, improvements, and new functionalities to validate system performance and reliability.

Formulate and implement testing strategies, scenarios, and scripts to ensure Gtreasury system operations across various modules.

Engage with internal teams and Gtreasury support to identify and rectify any issues that arise during testing.

Account Management: Oversee the establishment and upkeep of banking accounts, including the collection of necessary documentation and securing required approvals.

Guarantee adherence to internal guidelines and regulatory standards for the initiation and termination of bank accounts.

Administer bank account signatories and authorities following established protocols.

Fedwire Protocols and Payment Management: Develop and sustain Fedwire instructions for outgoing wire transactions, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards.

Facilitate outgoing payments through Fedwire and other payment systems promptly and accurately.

Supervise and reconcile bank statements and transaction reports to ensure accurate recording of treasury activities.

Treasury Operations Assistance: Provide operational support for treasury activities, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and risk assessment.

Contribute to the formulation and execution of treasury policies, procedures, and controls.

Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to enhance treasury workflows and boost operational efficiency.

Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation related to Gtreasury system setups, workflows, and user manuals.

Conduct training sessions for users on Gtreasury functionalities, best practices, and system updates.

Act as a subject matter expert and resource for internal teams regarding treasury-related inquiries and challenges.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA) is advantageous.

A minimum of X years of experience in treasury operations, with a robust understanding of treasury management systems, particularly Gtreasury.

Experience in Gtreasury cloud assessments and familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.

Knowledge of Fedwire payment management and experience in creating and managing Fedwire instructions.

Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
