The Project Coordination Specialist will be instrumental in overseeing the planning and management of construction timelines. By utilizing Microsoft Project and engaging closely with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants, you will ensure that project timelines are established and updated effectively.

This position is based in the Quincy, MA office and will involve occasional site visits throughout the Greater Boston area. The role reports directly to the Vice President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Review and create timelines for both pre-bid and post-award phases to align with client expectations.
  • Collaborate with external Project Schedule Consultants to manage deadlines and ensure timely updates.
  • Draft project narratives based on contributions from managers, superintendents, and estimating teams, with a focus on production and budget considerations.
  • Participate in schedule review meetings with project teams, estimating personnel, and clients, ensuring detailed minutes are recorded.
  • Assist in the formulation of RFP and proposal timelines for preconstruction and bidding processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is essential.
  • Ability to interpret plans and develop construction schedules effectively.
