Senior Inside Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Inside Sales Engineer to join our team at IMI Americas, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global engineering group focused on precise control and movement of fluids in critical applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customers with solutions to problems in the form of customized products, meeting technical and economic goals, and being profitable to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to RFQs with proposals to customers within defined lead times
- Coordinate with customers, Outside Sales, and Agent Partners to convince prospective customers of the desirability and practicability of valve products and services
- Develop and implement sales strategies for sales opportunities in the region of responsibility
- Review customer technical and commercial specifications to identify suitable products
- Perform sizing calculations to customize proposed solutions and prepare detailed cost estimates
- Organize and lead contract Risk Review Process and obtain technical and executive approvals
- Confer with manufacturing to assure processes, techniques, and time schedule meet customer needs
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to present technical solutions and close sales on high-value projects
- Respond quickly and accurately to customer questions and clarifications
- Analyze customer problems and recommend corrective action
- Provide direct customer support by conducting technical presentations and problem-solving at customer facilities
- Support the sales team by reviewing non-standard applications, interpreting specification requirements, and evaluating deviation from standards
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar technical field
- Four to seven years of experience in a related field or combination of education and experience
- External focus with a drive to fully understand and meet customer needs
- Demonstration of ownership, initiative, clear thinking, self-motivation, and proven leadership capabilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- General understanding of power generation and basics of control valves and applications
- Computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products and technical programs for flow control elements
