Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Insurance Customer Service Agent to join our team at AAA Western & Central New York. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, resolving their concerns, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer customer requests in a timely and effective manner, resolving their concerns and demonstrating AAA Core Values in every interaction.
  • Demonstrate ability to follow required processes and workflows on every call with minimal reported errors, meeting/exceeding outlined standards regarding adherence to assigned schedules & task(s).
  • Display proficiency in job knowledge and ability to problem solve in order to minimize the frequency of transferred customer calls and meet/exceed outlined standards.
  • Offer a Club-focused sales approach and continuously promote all Club products/services, effectively selling AAA memberships to meet/exceed outlined expectations.
Requirements
  • Responsible to obtain and maintain the required license or certification in an active status.
  • Able to display working knowledge of carrier offerings, processes, and requirements.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and events as required by business need/Leadership directive.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and ability to effectively navigate multiple systems.
  • Ability to operate independently and display proficiency in minimization of errors and problem solving.
  • Must be able to resolve problems and work under pressure to diffuse member concerns.

Qualifications
  • High School or better.
  • NYS P&C Insurance license or certification.
