Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager or Geologist/Engineer to join our growing Environmental Solutions team in California. The successful candidate will serve as primary Project Manager or manager of tasks for very large projects, lead proposal preparation, and participate in business development and technical breakout sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary Project Manager or manager of tasks for very large projects in California and the Western US.
  • Lead proposal preparation for Remediation Projects in the Western US.
  • Participate in business development and technical breakout sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Western US business development team.
  • Participate in industry networking and business development events and conferences.
  • Serve as senior technical resource for Partner ESI's project managers and sales team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or Geology from an accredited university.
  • Professional License(s) in technical specialty.
  • 5-15 years of successful Project Management experience for complex Sites, maintaining budgets and schedules while ensuring client retention through high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent technical writing skills with a history of preparation of detailed reports subjected to review by legal counsel.
  • Excellent communication skills, and computer skills.
  • Attitude of collaboration and enthusiasm for a dynamic and growing work environment.
  • Ability to accept and give professional guidance from and to others.
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines/changing priorities.
  • Ability to review site data with regard to applicable regulations.
  • History of Project Experience in the following areas: Performance of IAQ / soil gas surveys / well installations, Underground storage tank removal and remedial excavation oversight, SSDS / SVE design / installation / operation, Groundwater treatment design / implementation and monitoring programs.
  • Experience in remedial option(s) analysis / design / permitting / implementation.
  • Regulatory coordination / compliance experience.
  • Successful experience with soil vapor extraction or excavation remediation projects with recent regulatory agency closures is preferred.
  • Experience with technical litigation, attorney client work product and work within client side of industry is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a baseline physical exam and respirator fit test.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 - $136,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
