Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, effectively communicating project goals and outcomes.
  • Direct the work of drafters and designers, providing guidance and support to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
  • Supervise technical staff and engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist with and lead business development pursuits, identifying new opportunities and driving growth.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers and designers, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in water/wastewater utility engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification in California or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional quality solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:

Brown and Caldwell offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and more. The salary range for this position is $126,000 - $172,000, commensurate with experience.
