About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide critical support to our staff and ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Maintenance and Data Entry: Perform regular database maintenance, including data entry, reporting, and configuration, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Administration: Provide reception and administrative support to staff members, including answering phone calls, managing mail, and responding to inquiries.
  • Membership Support: Assist with member maintenance, identify new member prospects, and provide support for other member-related activities.
  • Continuing Legal Education (CLE): Assist with event-related logistics, including name badges, supplies, and signage.
  • Development: Support the Director of Development with administrative tasks related to fundraising, including donation acknowledgment, event coordination, and donor fulfillment.
Requirements
  • Strong database management skills, including experience with iMIS Engagement Management System.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with staff, members, and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong internet research skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
