Key Responsibilities

A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for resolving intriguing challenges across the technology stack, whether it involves debugging high-throughput multi-threaded applications, managing extensive structured data, or developing responsive and adaptive user interfaces.

You will collaborate with a skilled team focused on scalable systems, favoring open-source technologies and Amazon Web Services.

This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exposure to collaborative projects across IMDb and Amazon on a global scale.

You will work alongside fellow engineers, product and program managers, marketing teams, and UX designers to make swift yet data-informed decisions that lead to high-quality product outcomes.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
  • 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scalability (non-internship)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of comprehensive software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US geographic regions. The base salary for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.

Compensation is influenced by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position, equity, sign-on bonuses, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a comprehensive compensation package, alongside a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
