Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred Education: BS in Health, Exercise, Physiology, or Kinesiology
  • Preferred Certifications: BLS Competencies
  • Passion for working with patients and a strong desire to pursue a career as an Exercise Specialist.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A strong commitment to learning and continuous professional development.
  • A degree of physical strength is necessary, as the job requires the lifting and moving.
Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone.

  • Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting patients when required.
  • Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite health care service.
