Exercise Specialist

Marathon Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated and passionate Exercise Specialist to join our team. As an Exercise Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and Physical Therapists to implement personalized exercise programs.
Responsibilities:- Assist MPT staff during fitness assessments, exercise sessions, and rehabilitation programs.
- Observe and learn from experienced clinicians, gaining insights into best practices and advanced exercise techniques.
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to patients during exercise sessions.
- Engage in regular training sessions and educational workshops to enhance your clinical knowledge and exercise skills.
We are committed to your professional growth and development. Our mentorship and learning program is designed to provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel as an Exercise Specialist.
- One-on-one mentorship with experienced exercise specialists who will guide and support you throughout your learning journey.
- Monthly staff inservices focusing on various aspects of exercise science, physiology, patient management, and ethical practices.
- Opportunities to participate in case discussions, projects, and other educational offerings to deepen your understanding of evidence-based practices in an outpatient clinic setting.
- High School Diploma.
- Preferred Education: BS in Health, Exercise, Physiology, or Kinesiology.
- Preferred Certifications: BLS Competencies.
