Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees for the organization.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits and research competitive base and incentive pay programs.
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives to provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of human resource management experience.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
