Sr. Global Human Resources Business Partner

JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a manufacturer in search of a Sr. Global Human Resources Business Partner to join its team We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Leader to join a manufacturing company as a vital partner in driving global HR initiatives. This role is pivotal in leading the development, implementation, and management of best practices across the diverse, multi-cultural workforce. As a Global HR Leader, you will be responsible for executing the company’s HR Strategic Plan and providing hands-on support in key HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, delivering high-impact HR guidance and fostering an inclusive workplace culture that supports continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management
- Assess organizational capabilities and initiate HR action plans: Analyze the organization's needs and develop strategies to meet operational and strategic objectives.
- Recommend organization structure and changes: Propose changes to the organizational structure to align with business needs.
- Ensure alignment to regional and global HR strategies: Align local HR practices with broader regional and global strategies.
- Drive the development of workforce talent: Develop talent management initiatives to meet the changing demands of the business.
- Provide global HR policies and practices oversight: Ensure compliance with global HR policies and practices.
- Implement organization-wide programs and processes: Implement consistent HR programs and processes across multiple global sites.
- Drive change management initiatives: Lead initiatives to manage organizational change effectively.
Talent Management
- Coach and support clients regarding performance management, talent development, and employee problem resolution: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in these areas.
- Monitor the performance management process: Ensure effective goal setting, performance appraisals, and merit/bonus/commission distribution.
- Provide coaching and counseling to employees and leadership: Offer individual coaching and counseling to support employee development and well-being.
- Collaborate with clients to build and execute annual HR calendar and training plans: Work with managers to develop and implement HR training and development plans.
- Collaborate with clients in the delivery of talent acquisition needs: Support managers in recruiting and selecting new employees.
- Support recruitment and selection to assure that positions are filled in a timely and effective manner: Ensure efficient and effective recruitment and selection processes.
- Support the employee orientation process: Facilitate a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
HR Operations
- Prepare and report on key HR metrics: Provide HR leaders with data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Facilitate internal/external pay analysis: Ensure that compensation systems are competitive and equitable.
- Facilitate annual benefits enrollment and benefits processes: Manage the annual benefits enrollment process for employees.
- Manage payroll activities: Oversee payroll processing for the organization.
- Manage employee off-boarding process: Handle the exit process for departing employees.
- Lead special projects as assigned: Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives.
Employee Relations and Culture
- Implement proactive communications and focus groups: Foster open communication and engagement with employees.
- Fosters a positive working environment by channeling the mission, vision, and values: Promote a positive company culture aligned with organizational values.
- Manages work environment plans: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Engages in community affairs to maintain good relations with the local community: Participate in community activities to build positive relationships.
- Other responsibilities as assigned: Perform additional HR tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline required.
- Masters degree in related discipline required (such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources management.
- Society of Human Resources Management or related certification desirable.
- Prior working experience in Human Resources in a related industry preferred.
- Experience partnering with senior management, with proven ability to influence and facilitate execution of HR Strategy.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business partnerships and working relationships across geographically dispersed and decentralized global functions, levels, and locations.
- Ability to manage and influence multiple diverse global client groups and needs. Bilingual in English and another language(s) a plus.
- Prior working experience in a complex, global matrixed environment required.
- Management/supervisory experience with an eye towards mentoring and developing staff preferred.
- Strong change management and organizational development skills.
- Strong presentation and oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, inclusive of expert understanding of HR-related KPI’s, and the ability to effectively communicate those to client groups.
- Proactive, improvement minded, and possesses the ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Project Management skills a plus.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams). Knowledge of Visio a plus.
- Working knowledge of ADP required. Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or another HRIS system preferred. Working knowledge with Applicant Tracking System(s) required.
Salary Range
- $125-135k
