About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our team at VCA Everett Animal Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in overseeing clinic operations and leading our team of Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the workflow on the floor to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Cultivate a positive and engaging work environment, maintaining our strong hospital culture
  • Work collaboratively with hospital management and supervisory teams to drive the progression of the hospital
  • Assist in the interview process and onboard new associates, providing a seamless transition into the team
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our technicians
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss important topics and address concerns
  • Provide opportunities for staff to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills
  • Mentor and support technicians within the department, helping them to grow and succeed
  • Resolve conflicts in a professional and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Refine and implement protocols to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety
  • Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented and adhered to by all technical staff members
Qualifications
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT) with a preference for FL CVT
  • 5+ years of clinical experience, with a strong background in veterinary medicine
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of success in managing teams and driving results
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
