Veterinary Care Professional

The Veterinary Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional pet care and customer service at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will work closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to provide top-notch care for our furry patients.
Key Responsibilities- Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing quality veterinary care
- Advocate for pets and educate clients on pet health and wellness
- Ensure a safe and effective hospital environment
- Assist with surgery and other medical procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
- Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work at a computer for long periods
- Confidence around pets and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
