About the RoleThe Two Spirit Program Coordinator will play a critical role in promoting the health, well-being, and empowerment of Two Spirit youth in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that address the unique needs of this population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement culturally relevant programming that promotes the health and well-being of Two Spirit youth.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to build a network of support for Two Spirit youth.
  • Provide pro-social group facilitation, reproductive health education, and violence prevention services.
  • Connect Two Spirit youth and their families to NAYA's services and other community resources.

Requirements
  • Lived or work experience in the Two Spirit LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Ideal candidate will have lived or work experience in the Native community.
  • At least two years of work experience supporting youth.
  • Calm demeanor with the ability to de-escalate tensions and create a safe environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Valid Oregon or Washington driver's license with no more than one major violation in the last three years.
