Native American Youth And Family Center is committed to building a supportive community for Two Spirit youth ages 8-24. We are seeking a skilled Community Development Specialist to join our team and help us achieve this goal.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 per year. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of two years of work experience supporting youth and strong project management skills. Experience working with Two Spirit youth and knowledge of Native communities are preferred.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote the health, well-being, and success of Two Spirit youth. This includes conducting pro-social group facilitation, reproductive health education, and violence prevention programming. You will also connect Two Spirit youth and their families to NAYA's services and other community resources.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will model healthy and positive communication, facilitate the Two Spirit Safe Space Alliance, and lead monthly gatherings for Two Spirit youth, including the annual Queer Prom. You will also contribute to seasonal activities such as Spring Break and Summer Camp.
