We are seeking a skilled Lead Grid Program Manager to join our team at PacifiCorp. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex program delivery across multiple states, driving significant corporate and business unit impact.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and establishing program goals, developing delivery plans, negotiating timelines and schedules, and monitoring progress against plan. They will also participate in vendor/client negotiations for large multi-year vendor delivery contracts and direct vendor activities over long periods with significant budget implications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage highly complex program delivery across multiple states
  • Evaluate and establish program goals, develop delivery plans, negotiate timelines and schedules, and monitor progress against plan
  • Participate in vendor/client negotiations for large multi-year vendor delivery contracts
  • Direct vendor activities over long periods with significant budget implications

This role requires strong technical knowledge of utility system operation, distribution or transmission technologies, smart grid technologies, and the ability to manage and motivate employees. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to present program design, procedures, budget, controls, and results to internal and external audiences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of seven years professional experience with distribution or transmission technologies, resource evaluation, and project management
  • Advanced technical knowledge of utility system operation, distribution or transmission, or substation technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to network and maintain partnerships with key customer accounts, trade allies, industry professionals, etc.
Estimated Salary Range

$115,900 - $136,300 per year

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary.
