FlyCo Director Opportunity

Dance Wire seeks a multifaceted leader to oversee our FlyCo Pre-professional Training Company. As the Program Director, you will provide holistic oversight and leadership, ensuring the success of this dynamic program. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to connect and build trusting relationships with students while maintaining boundaries and managing expectations. Your experience as a high-level coach in various circus disciplines will be invaluable in mentoring students and developing curricula. You will work closely with our team of head coaches, education director, operations manager, and executive director to create a supportive and productive environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of coaching experience, professional-level performance experience, and relevant certifications or education. Your ability to receive and incorporate feedback, as well as provide honest feedback to students and staff, will be essential in continually improving our programming. This part-time position comes with a competitive salary of $43,200 per year, broken into two job descriptions: FlyCo Director/Admin – $20/hour (8-10 hours/week) and Aerial Coach – $30/hour (varies). Private Lesson Coach compensation is an additional $45/hour (also varies).
