POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store functions. This includes overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources tasks to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Culture

Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement in-store business and sales initiatives.

Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding both the store team and themselves accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and conduct standards.

Manages payroll and supply budgets effectively.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing physical inventory, and ensuring accuracy in payroll documentation.

Handles all financial transactions in compliance with company policies, including cash management and reporting, price adjustments, and merchandise handling.

Ensures adherence to all relevant laws, loss prevention protocols, and operational procedures; conducts training for associates to reinforce proper practices.

Administers all operational processes, including inventory management, daily merchandise replenishment, and preparation for physical inventories.

Maintains visual merchandising, organization, and facility upkeep that reflect the Brand's standards.

Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve assigned sales and productivity targets.

Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team is knowledgeable about products both online and in-store.

Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision while exemplifying core values.

Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Communicates effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to lead positive transformations.

Customer Experience

Models, teaches, and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Demonstrates sales expectations by employing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection based on customer preferences.

Ensures prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.

Guarantees a swift and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and security practices.

Ensures the team maintains consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives.

Talent Development

Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.

Supports and implements training programs and seminars, providing follow-up as necessary.

Evaluates and coaches the store team on performance metrics.

In collaboration with the Store Manager, addresses human resources matters promptly and effectively.

Enhances associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.

Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.

Other Duties:

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Able to adapt to technology utilized by the company.

Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with a proven track record in sales and leadership.

Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Effective leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.

Familiarity with the administrative aspects of store operations.

Able to communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Regular attendance is crucial to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).

Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
