Key Responsibilities :
The
Operations Team Supervisor
acts as an integral part of a client's operational team, enhancing our tailored training initiatives. Team members will undertake various job-related responsibilities as designated.
Team members will deliver training to colleagues on all projects and tasks relevant to their roles in revenue cycle management.
Under general oversight and in accordance with established protocols, performs a range of tasks related to customer service and self-pay recovery within the Call Center Support Operations.
Such tasks may encompass, but are not limited to, the following: 1) assists management in coordinating all activities related to Patient Financial Services Follow-up2) serves as a Subject Matter Expert across all facets of assigned client projects, and
3) evaluates the work of and offers guidance and training to Patient Account Representatives, and 4) aids in the establishment of standards and protocols, and 5) addresses inquiries and routinely supports team members to ensure performance targets are achieved, 6) assesses reimbursement to guarantee timely and accurate payments, and 7) undertakes additional responsibilities as directed by direct management.
Must exhibit self-direction and motivation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Subject Matter Expert, maintaining current knowledge in all areas of designated projects/clients, including client host systems and imaging systems, internal host systems – METRIX, internal vendor systems, and call center platforms.
Address all business-related inquiries and correspondence from patients and insurance entities. Reviews team members' work and provides training and feedback as necessary.
Conduct audits of patient accounts as required. Assists management in coordinating activities.
Facilitates training for new employees and project-specific refresher sessions.
Performs tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager to ensure team objectives are met.
Manages and reports on task dashboards and work queues (desk) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Provides ongoing education for current employees.
Supports team members and addresses inquiries to ensure that performance goals are achieved.
Assists in the implementation of standards and guidelines.
Prepares daily productivity, call, and payment reports.
Provides timely feedback to relevant management.
When managing Accounts Receivable, responsible for handling up to 40 accounts daily.
Completes all assigned projects in a timely manner.
Assists clients and patients with all requested tasks.
Communicates to management areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
Delivers client-specific training for patient account representatives.
Reviews and updates production reporting.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma/GED
Typically requires 8 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in Patient Billing
Three to five years of experience in the healthcare sector.
Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Familiarity with desktop applications including Word and Excel is essential.
Ability to initiate and complete projects independently with minimal supervision is required.
