POSITION SUMMARY

The Facade Supervisor at Rust-Oleum Corporation is tasked with overseeing the safety, efficiency, and quality of the building envelope operations. Safety remains the utmost priority and is integrated into every aspect of our projects. As the designated leader of the team, the Facade Supervisor emphasizes safety, team management, and the effective execution of all assigned projects. Travel may be necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively implement and uphold the company's safety policies to reduce accidents impacting employees, the public, and property. This includes:
- Conducting safety meetings
- Adhering to regulatory requirements
- Reporting and investigating incidents
- Developing site-specific safety protocols

• Facilitate daily safety briefings before project commencement with all involved personnel, ensuring a thorough understanding of safety measures.

• Assess and confirm the safety of the work environment, tools, and equipment, addressing any concerns proactively.

• Complete and submit the Daily Hazard Analysis form to supervisors as required.

• Ensure comprehensive communication is established prior to project initiation, including:
- Coordination with sales representatives regarding schedules
- Discussions with team members about project scope and daily tasks
- Engagement with clients before, during, and after project execution
- Updates to supervisors on safety, scheduling, and project developments.

• Manage project timelines effectively, including crew schedules, production rates, and the availability of necessary tools and materials to ensure safe and efficient project completion.

• Deliver projects in accordance with the defined scope, design, and specifications outlined in contracts and engineering documents.

• Conduct end-of-day or end-of-project inspections to guarantee quality standards are met, documenting findings and sharing updates with relevant parties.

• Supervise and coordinate project scheduling and execution, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

• Oversee field personnel management, including recruitment, training, motivation, and retention of skilled workers to meet operational needs.

• Maintain high standards of customer relations, projecting a positive company image.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting work sites and employees, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards.

• Monitor and document the performance of field personnel, addressing any work-related issues in consultation with supervisors and human resources.

• Provide timely and accurate job information, including daily logs and documentation for customer billing.

• Report any actual or potential job-related issues to management promptly.

• Take responsibility for the care and management of company assets, including equipment and materials.

• Train team members on proper equipment usage, maintenance, and storage practices.

• Oversee the performance of subcontractors on-site as necessary.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a similar supervisory role, including team leadership and technical problem-solving.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard facade construction techniques, including masonry, EIFS, stucco, curtainwall, metal panels, and concrete.
