Nurse Practitioner

Premise Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Fridley, MN.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our occupational health clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
- Conduct nursing assessments, provide treatment within scope of practice, and collaborate with physicians as needed.
- Identify equipment needs and report to the lead clinician.
- Perform occupational and health screening tests, conduct laboratory tests, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer medications and medical treatments competently, maintain a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
- Participate in follow-up phone calls and patient visits, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates' degree (A.S.) is required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
- Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Certification in Emergency Nursing, or Certificate in Case Management preferred.
- At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.
- Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
