Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Security Monitor to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and escort uncleared personnel at the facility, maintaining visual contact and a proper line of sight at all times.
  • Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel, while remaining alert and awake to provide appropriate security monitoring.
  • Work around active construction areas, wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Perform tasks in industrial locations, including mechanical and electrical rooms, and properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel.
  • Walk long distances, climb stairs, and sit/stand for extended periods, while wearing appropriate work attire.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of security experience.
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to provide written and verbal incident reports to various customers.
  • Impeccable attendance history.
  • Must be a US Citizen, and possess and maintain a fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance.
