Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Monitor to join our team in a unique opportunity to escort uncleared personnel at our facility. As a Security Monitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.
  • Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel, including employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Remain alert and always awake to provide appropriate security monitoring of escorted individuals.
  • Work around active construction areas and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work in industrial locations, including mechanical and electrical rooms, and other areas as assigned.
  • Properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas.
  • Walk long distances, climb stairs, sit/stand for long periods of time, and perform other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of security experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Ability to provide written and verbal incident reports to various customers.
  • Impeccable attendance history and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess and maintain a fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance.
