Safety Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team at Butterball, LLC. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the facility on safety and health programs and requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and mitigate hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure employee awareness and understanding of safety procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments to identify and implement safety improvements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and maintain safety metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on safety-related issues and concerns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Health and Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
- Working knowledge of life-safety codes, OSHA regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience in a similar role or industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
This role will be based in a manufacturing environment, with approximately 70% of the time spent in a cold and wet environment. The remaining 30% will be spent in a controlled office environment.
