Join Our Team as a Clinical Supervisor/Charge Nurse

Community Rehabilitation Hospital South is seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor/Charge Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess all departments to ensure continuity of care and report pertinent information to management and administration.
  • Effectively communicate unusual occurrences or complaints for follow-up and intervene immediately when needed.
  • Ensure the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  • Monitor and document medical records, including documentation of medical necessity, and ensure timely and accurate completion of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
  • Review and evaluate risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes to continually improve performance and outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on Quality Indicators and ensure timely and accurate QI assessments and scoring are performed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct activities of clinical personnel.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, in English, with additional languages preferred.
