Job SummaryWe are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. As an EMT with NORCAL Ambulance, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing critical care transportation services to patients in need.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care and transportation services to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
- Operate ambulances and other medical transportation vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Current CA State EMT Certification (in progress)
- AHA CPR/BLS Certification
- Current California Driver's License
- Ambulance Drivers License
- Medical Examiner's Certificate
- DMV K4 Motor Vehicle Report (currently accepting online printout from DMV)
- Competitive hourly wage: $27.06
- Night differential rate: $30.06
- Specialty shift differential (NICU/PICU, ALS, CCT): $1.50 (day) + $3.00 (night/weekend)
- $0.50/hr raises at 6 months and 1 year
- Call bonuses (starting with the first call)
- Financial aid scholarships up to $2,500
- Stations in Concord and Dublin
- Extensive paid training, minimum six shifts with a trainer focusing on patient care, specialty care, and driver training
- Bonuses awarded starting at the end of training and continued through a year of service
- Full-time and part-time shifts (6hr, 8hr, 10hr, 12hr shifts) scheduling based on your availability
