Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hyatt Regency DTC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel's facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair issues with hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
  • Painting and Finishing: Prepare and paint surfaces of the building structure, furniture, and equipment using proper application techniques.
  • Repair and Installation: Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces, hang vinyl wall coverings, and maintain and repair caulked, grouted, and masonry surfaces.
  • Woodworking: Prepare and maintain wood surfaces requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong trouble-shooting skills, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictate.
