About the Role

The Property Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in executing the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention objectives. This is achieved by attracting new residents, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction throughout their lease, and facilitating lease renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct all sales and leasing activities to meet the community's leasing targets. Engage with prospective residents, follow up to assist them in finding their ideal home, conduct property tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease agreements to ensure a seamless move-in experience.
  • Inspect the property daily to maintain the presentation of the touring route and model units according to TLR Group's standards.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to enhance the community's competitive edge.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the marketing team to streamline the leasing and sales processes.
  • Collaborate with the property manager to implement resident retention strategies.
  • Utilize property management software to track availability, document leasing activities, manage prospect and resident information, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with leads to align with TLR Group's policies, enhancing the leasing experience for prospects and the community.
  • Address resident inquiries promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve all resident issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Customer Service (required)
  • Sales Background (preferred)
  • Leasing Experience (preferred)
    • Certification as an Apartment Leasing Professional is advantageous
  • Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal) (required)
  • Effective Time Management
  • Familiarity with Property Management Software (preferred), especially Entrata
  • Attention to Detail
  • Able to Multitask in a Fast-Paced Environment

Work Schedule

  • 35-40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule including weekend shifts
  • 30-minute meal break
  • Overtime as necessary
