The Apartment Leasing Specialist serves as the primary representative for our property, engaging with potential residents, showcasing the community's features, and facilitating lease agreements with qualified applicants. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of the leasing process for prospective tenants.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both future tenants and current residents.
  • Conduct property tours, assist with the application process, and successfully close sales.
  • Ensure maximum occupancy by closing sales on available units and promoting additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Maintain precise and current records of prospective and existing client interactions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communications.
  • Address resident concerns and requests with a positive attitude to promote satisfaction with management.
  • Support the Property Manager and team in coordinating ongoing property maintenance.
  • Regularly inspect and tour the community to uphold its appearance and ensure timely repairs.
  • Assist the Property Manager in training on-site staff to meet operational objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience in sales or leasing is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to maintain a high energy level, friendly demeanor, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills are required.
  • National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute is necessary; experience with Yardi is a plus.
  • Must obtain Fair Housing certification before engaging with prospects or residents.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations regarding property management.
