Your RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Buyer/Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that materials are available in alignment with our production schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating supplier quotes, making recommendations, and coordinating delivery schedules.
- Purchasing materials in accordance with the master production schedule.
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules to meet customer demands.
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels through diligent monitoring and supplier coordination.
- Contributing to the development of strategic production planning methodologies.
- Analyzing inventory management systems to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
- Overseeing supplier performance and monitoring associated costs.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field, along with:
- Extensive knowledge of procurement and planning processes.
- Experience with MRP systems.
- A keen interest in both domestic and international supply chains.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
