Job Summary:

Volt is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerk I to join our team. As a Clerk I, you will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including data entry, customer service, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Enter customer part numbers, supplier information, and other data into our customer inventory management system with 100% accuracy.
  • Administrative Functions: Perform data entry administrative functions in established computer programs.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Process shipping and receiving documents and input information from the bill of lading.
  • Order Dispatch: Dispatch orders and provide tags for customer part selection.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims for misdirected parts and use the customer system to update claim information.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks for supplier compliance.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Clerical or Data Entry Experience: Clerical or data entry experience is required.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is desired.
