Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Grant Management:
- Manage grants to support organizational operations and programs.
- Develop grant budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare grant reports and communicate effectively with grantors.
- Monitor grant timelines and deadlines.
Bookkeeping and Budgeting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and submit payroll.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgetary compliance and accuracy.
- Track expenditures and identify opportunities for improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of experience in finance, grant management, bookkeeping, and budgeting, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, grant regulations, budget management, and audit preparation.
- Ethical and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
