Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing inquiries from both external and internal customers through various communication channels in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Proactively pursuing overdue invoices by reaching out to clients through phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Conducting detailed reconciliations of intricate accounts and facilitating the resolution of customer disputes by collaborating with relevant departments regarding billing issues.
  • Demonstrating advanced organizational, technical, and communication skills to effectively prioritize and resolve customer concerns, ensuring prompt payment.
  • Performing daily and monthly account reconciliations, including maintaining spreadsheets such as cash logs.
  • Processing payments received via credit cards and coordinating with a centralized cash application team for accurate account updates.
  • Reviewing and preparing customer refunds for duplicate payments, overpayments, and erroneous transactions.
  • Generating weekly aging reports and prioritizing accounts based on their overdue status.
  • Conducting account assessments for credit approvals.
  • Negotiating payment arrangements with clients as necessary.
  • Training new team members on standard operating procedures and daily responsibilities.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in accounts receivable management, cash application processes, collections, invoicing, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with bill of lading, proof of delivery, EDI systems, write-offs, deductions, reconciliations, and SAP software, including SAP S/4 HANA.
