Data Quality Analyst

Job Summary
The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and assessing the accuracy and quality of data within assigned enterprise data entities. This includes analyzing data compared to source information, identifying and escalating data quality problems, and making recommendations for remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the establishment of policies, standards, and guidelines for data quality and control frameworks.
- Analyze data within assigned enterprise data entities to assess accuracy and correctness.
- Make informed recommendations for remediation to the Data Assessment Manager.
- Identify, compare, and escalate identified data quality problems.
- Utilize tools to analyze data according to defined business rules and procedures.
- Document and publish data quality errors.
- Research and review regulatory guidance and apply to framework.
- Update reports, track, and publish data quality assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in risk, operations, administration, technology, and/or project management.
- Basic knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow information.
- Ability to understand business rules and data lineage, work with varying data formats, and develop metrics to monitor data quality.
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Ability to lead and direct team members in completion of complex projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in risk, operations, administration, technology, and/or project management.
- 5 years of commercial lending experience.
- Experience in Truist lending functions.
- Knowledge of Truist's credit culture.
- Knowledge of underwriting, documentation, and servicing across all types of lending activities.
- Proficiency in Truist standard software packages.
