Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Partial Carrier Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our carrier base to provide the most cost-effective and high-level service for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Pricing and Negotiation: Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure competitive rates for our customers. Negotiate with carriers to secure the best possible rates and services.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our carrier base to ensure excellent service and support for our customers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to shipment delays, damages, or other logistical challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in carrier sales or logistics operations, preferably in a 3PL environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of partial freight and experience with dry van, reefer, and FB loads is a must.
  • Skillset: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, hardworking, and team-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed and grow with the company.
