Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at GPAC. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and securing HVAC sales with new and existing customers to increase company profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to identify sales opportunities and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Facilitate customer product selection and provide expert advice on HVAC systems and solutions.
  • Service existing accounts with necessary custom products, time, and information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and present sales proposals and quotations to customers.
  • Assist with product selection best suited to customer needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and communicate price quotations, sale terms, delivery dates, and service obligations to customers.
  • Estimate materials from blueprints provided by customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in accounts receivable collection and maintain accurate records.
  • Attend and participate in training, sales meetings, and other business unit events as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of full cycle solution sales experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and travel as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn and utilize Envisioneer software.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Work in both an indoor and outdoor setting, selling services within the portfolio.
  • Responsible for working directly with building owners, facility directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
  • Focus areas include commercial, industrial, medical, education, hospitality facilities, government, and other institutional campuses.
