OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE


Engaging with various departments across the organization to formulate and oversee the firm's strategic and financial objectives, encompassing profit, loss, and resource allocation.


Our team partners with different sectors of the firm, including Controllers, Corporate Treasury, and Risk Management, to acquire the insights necessary for delivering critical evaluations to project and anticipate financial outcomes.

We leverage our expertise to implement strategic initiatives that enable internal stakeholders, such as leadership teams, to access financial data more efficiently and effectively.

DIVISIONS AND FUNCTIONS


Controllers are essential in assessing and accurately reporting the profitability of the firm's diverse products, services, and operations on a global scale.

Professionals collaborate with various sectors of the firm, acquiring the necessary expertise to provide critical assessments that ensure the accuracy of both internal and external financial information, fulfilling the financial control and reporting requirements of a global, regulated financial institution.

Teams are tasked with profit and loss (P&L) reporting and analysis, independent valuation, capital assessment, and financial reporting. Individuals in this function possess an analytical mindset, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and come from varied academic backgrounds.


Risk Management focuses on effectively identifying, monitoring, evaluating, and managing the firm's financial and operational risks, including reputational risk, in alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.

Operating in a dynamic environment and utilizing a top-tier risk framework, Risk teams are analytically driven, embrace challenges, and maintain a steadfast commitment to excellence.

Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, Model Risk, Operational Risk, Risk Engineering, Corporate Risk, Credit Review Group

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required

0-3 years of relevant work experience

Proficient to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Adaptable to various industries and business models

Self-directed with the ability to analyze, evaluate, and make independent judgments

Effective in building relationships with senior management and global stakeholders

Commercially aware with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment
