Job Summary
The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating financial data, constructing financial models, and offering insights to facilitate informed decision-making.

This team member will assess the company's financial performance, pinpoint trends, and propose recommendations to enhance financial efficiency and profitability.

This position demands robust analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Evaluate financial data and performance metrics to uncover trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop financial models to bolster strategic initiatives and business planning.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in formulating the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecasts, providing variance analysis and explanations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accurate and realistic budgeting.
Treasury Management:
- Analyze and support cash flow management as a secondary perspective on payments.
- Align operating bank accounts with internal processes to guarantee consistent liquidity availability.
- Assist in evaluating debt financing opportunities.
Cost Management:
- Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
- Monitor and report on key cost drivers and performance indicators.
- Provide recommendations to optimize operational costs and improve profitability.
Financial Operations:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records and accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including Accounting, Operations, and Sales, to gather relevant information and support decision-making.
- Offer financial expertise and guidance to non-financial stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Education and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements:
This is a full-time in-office position that may require extended hours and weekend work for events.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; reach, stoop, and kneel to install computer equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
Light to moderate lifting is required.
Ability to manage the stress of traveling. Regular, predictable attendance is essential; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
Ability to work in a confined area.
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
